Play Live Roulette at 32 Red

Roulette:

It should immediately be noted that the game Roulette comes in two forms. One is the US version and the second is the UK version.

The game of Roulette has been around since the early 18th century. Developed in France, the game is a simple form of gambling and a simple game of chance. Roulette is fun and entertaining just like many online casino games. Even when you visit an in house casino, you can very well see for yourself, the crowd gathered at the Roulette table.

Object of Game

The object of Roulette is picking the winning number that will appear on a Roulette wheel after the spin. You can bet on combinations of numbers, whether the result will be odd or even, and the color, which is either red or black.

The European wheel has 37 numbered slots (0 to 36), while the North American wheel has 38 numbers including a double zero (00).

Placing Your Bet

There are a variety of wagers available when playing Roulette:

Inside Bets

•    Straight Up: is when the player picks a single number to win. This wager pays out 35 to 1, so depending on the amount of the wager; it offers a nice return for the right guess.

•    Split Bet: Placing your chip so it ‘straddles’ a combination of two numbers. This payout is 17 to 1.

•    Line Bets: Also known as Street Bets, you place your chip on the vertical line, which separates the outside and inside betting areas. The chip is straddling the first number in the row. This payout is 11 to 1.

•    Quad Bet: Your chip should be touching the four corners of the numbers. This payout is 8 to 1. Quad betting or sometimes referred to as Corner betting is a popular wager amongst beginners.

•    Double Street Bet: Almost the same as Line bets, but your chip straddles the row above or below. This payout is 5 to 1.

•    Basket Bet: Known as one of the worst bets in Roulette, it is a five number bet on Zero, double zero, as well as 1, 2, 3. It pays 6 to 1.

Outside Bets

•    Player bets on red or black, and on odd or even. The player places chips in the boxes on the layout.

•    Dozens Bet: Player places chip in the boxes numbered from 1 to 12, 13 to 24 or 25 to 36. If you get a zero, or the double zero, then you lose. Odds are 2 to 1.

•    Column Bets: Player bets on one of the three vertical columns, by placing chips in the bottom boxes on the layout.
