Baccarat:

Nobody really knows the exact origin of this very entertaining game. Some still argue as to who actually invented the game. Breaking it down, for the sake of agreeing to disagree, we know for sure that it was either the Italians or possibly the French who invented the game. Game historians can also agree that the game was probably invented in the early 1500’s.

Baccarat is indeed a very old game and still popular on the casino floor. It is a simple game of chance and easy enough to catch onto. The direct translation of Baccarat means ‘Zero’, in both French and Italian – Hence the argument on origins. There are three accepted forms of baccarat:

1.    Baccarat Chemin De Fer
2.    Baccarat Banque
3.    Punto Banco – North American
